FAIRGROUND SECURITY WITH A CONSTRUCTION CAMERA

The nice weather is on its way back. The summer jacket can come off and the sun is going to shine again. Proper fairground weather. The fairground season has started again.

Large groups of people gather in a small space for an evening of fun, flashing lights and good times.

But also rowdy youths, fights and crime. Pickpockets love going to fairgrounds to steal wallets from pockets and scam bank cards.

Scott Meskes of Worksecure asked me to take photos of his inventive masts with a construction camera on top. Connected to a control room on the fairground itself. A group of security guards actively monitor the masts with construction cameras. If they spot criminals or suspicious circumstances, they take action.

Normally these masts stand on construction sites and protect equipment and steel road plates from being stolen.
