DAILY OBSERVATIONS

We live in a lonely world. Individualism is at an all-time high: we live right past each other and no longer have an eye for one another. The smartphone has made our world unimaginably smaller and at the same time so much bigger.

We create our own space, with headphones on to keep the outside world out. When we're waiting, we no longer look around, make contact with our surroundings, but retreat into the filter bubble of our smartphone.

We live right past each other without even realising it.

That's what the street photography of Daily Observations is about. With Daily Observations, I show the world as I experience it: raw, in black and white, pure reality, my daily observations. The fun and less fun, strange and unique, positive and negative moments; always a reflection of the street. Street photography at its purest.

All my experience and vision come together in the Daily Observations | Street Photography Workshops. I teach you how to observe and spot those small moments on the street. I help you overcome your fear of photographing people and explain the basics of photography and how to apply them. Check out the Daily Observations | Street Photography Workshops page for more info.
