DAILY OBSERVATIONS

We live in a lonely world. Individualism is rampant: we live alongside one another and no longer pay attention to each other. The smartphone has made our world unimaginably smaller and at the same time so much bigger.

We create our own space, wearing headphones to shut the world out. When we are waiting, we no longer look around, we don’t connect with our surroundings, but instead retreat into the filter bubble of our smartphone.

We pass each other by, without even realizing it.

That is what the street photography of Daily Observations is about. With Daily Observations, I show the world as I experience it: raw, in black and white, nothing but reality — my daily observations. The pleasant and the unpleasant, the strange and the unique, the positive and the negative moments; always a reflection of the street. Street photography in its purest form.

All my experience and vision come together in the Daily Observations | Street Photography Workshops. I teach you to observe and to notice the small moments on the street. I help you overcome your fear of photographing people and explain the fundamentals of photography and how you can apply them.
