We live in a lonely world. Individualism reigns. We live past one another and no longer have anything left for each other. The smartphone has made our world unimaginably smaller, yet so much bigger.
We create our own space. With headphones on to keep the world out. When we’re waiting, we no longer look around, make no connection with our surroundings, but retreat into the filter bubble of our smartphones.
We live by each other. And don’t realise that.
That’s what Daily Observations does. With Daily Observations I show the world as I experience it. In raw black and white, purely reality, my daily observations. The fun and less fun, Distinct and unique, Positive and negative moments. But always a reflection of the street. Street photography at its purest.
