Hi, my name is Guillaume Groen. I\u2019m a nerd at heart. Ever since I was little I\u2019ve been fascinated by technology and I always want to know how and why things work the way they do. I\u2019m just naturally curious. As a kid I was always asking questions, walking right up front with the guide on excursions, and even now I don\u2019t just take things at face value until my curiosity is satisfied. <\/span><\/p>

I bring this same mindset to my work. I have a genuine interest in people and I believe their stories are always worth hearing. So many beautiful stories are lost over time. Traditional craftsmanship is disappearing with the rise of mechanization, automation, and robotics. Things may become easier, faster, and more efficient, but that often comes at the expense of those old skills and that artisanal way of working. <\/span><\/p>

I try to capture all of this in my photography. I\u2019m truly a people photographer. Because I\u2019m genuinely interested in the stories of the people I photograph, we build a connection. People love talking about their passion. They open up, they feel heard, and they relax in front of the camera. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I also love looking behind doors that usually stay closed. I like to show what others normally never get to see. Questions like \u201cHow do they make that product?\u201d or \u201cIs that still made in the Netherlands?\u201d are always on my mind \u2014 and I love finding the answers. That\u2019s why I enjoy getting access to factories and production sites, and why I find the manufacturing industry so fascinating. <\/p>

For my photo series Made in NL<\/a> , I photograph Dutch industry \u2014 factories that still produce in the Netherlands. It\u2019s all about capturing real Dutch craftsmanship in images. <\/span><\/p>

I help you tell your story. I open the doors that are normally closed to your customers and show them what you\u2019re great at. It\u2019s no coincidence that the TV show How It\u2019s Made is still so popular. <\/span><\/p>

Companies don\u2019t show their employees nearly enough. We need to bring the human touch back into corporate photography. I see so many company websites using stock photos or no photos of real people at all, even though they are your greatest asset. They are the ones who are passionate about your product. Show your production process to your customers and let your employees tell the story of your business. <\/span><\/p>
